We encourage families to attend together for regular check-ups. This brings children in from an early age which helps the whole family feel happy and confident with their dental appointments. We provide children and their parents/carers with preventative advice and education on brushing, diet, fissure sealants and orthodontic treatment (crowding and brace work).
Thumb or Finger Sucking
If your child is a persistent thumb or finger sucker and needs some help to stop then we have found a fun and effective solution from Thumbsie®.
Thumbsie® are based in the UK and design and manufacture fabric thumb and finger guards that are handmade and fit over the thumb or fingers like a glove. They are suitable for the prevention of digit sucking in children aged 3 - 12 years old. The guard is secured around the wrist using Velcro, it comes in 5 different sizes and acts as a reminder.
