On the NHS, as part of the Band 1 and 2 treatment options, we will provide a scale and/or periodontal treatment when it is clinically needed.
The NHS stipulates that a polish is only to be provided when it also is clinically needed to secure a patient’s oral health but not for cosmetic reasons. In light of this, if you want to instantly brighten your smile, our Hygiene Therapist can be visited on a private-paying basis for the removal of “lifestyle” staining such as that produced by smoking, tea, coffee and red wine etc.
